Was this a nod to John Carpenter's "Cigarette Burns?" Nice addition of Adrienne Barbeau (The Thing, The Fog, his wife... lol) as well. Hats off AHS for knowing their horror tropes and history. I felt like the beginning and end were good. Probably too much exposition in Act III and the principal actors need to work on their craft imho. In the three episodes so far they've not been able to hold a candle to the actors in the original series which is disappointing. Loved the editing room scene.
So far lots of nostalgia in these first three episodes. I'm liking this series for this reason.
