@grumpyv That's because it is still made by Geoff Johns. Because Geoff Johns created Courtney Whitmore in the comics to honour his sister after she died in a major plane crash, he is going to make sure that the tv show is as high quality as possible and he is not going to allow the CW to do their usual bullshit soap opera drama.
Geoff Johns also worked on the Snyder cut and he had enough power to be able to tell Snyder what he could and what he couldn't do with the project. Geoff Johns is arguably the best DC Comics writer of all time so he makes the best stories. This is why, as long as he is in charge, this show is going to always be amazing, even if it is on the CW.
@olilaz Yeah if you look it up CW actually wanted a trans Stargirl. Which Johns was probably against since his sister wasn’t trans.

So far my fears about this moving to the cw have been for not. First episode and it’s hasn’t been CW nized let’s hope the rest of season 2 stays on point.
