Beckett 2021

The movie lost me when the protestors, upon having their demigod assassinated, then choose to start attacking bathroom tiles on the street with claw hammers. Firstly, why were there bathroom tiles on the street and secondly why is this a response to an assassination and thirdly who brings a claw hammer to a political rally? Also, why were there three cartoon-style bombs (round black balls with a fuse coming out) being thrown? Who brings those to a political rally either? I just can't. And I like thrillers. But this misses the mark too much.

@theinfamousj Oh, I have answers to these questions!
In my opinion the movie is shit and a lot of scenes don't make much sense, but that was kind of realistic.
The protestors are not breaking bathroom tiles, that's how the sidewalks look in Athens and people are breaking off pieces so they can use them like rocks, to throw against the cops. This is a common riot tactic, and some people attending a political rally/protest, prepared for a riot, would probably carry hammers with them. The "bombs" were either flash grenades or most likely tear gas, used by police.
Other than that there wasn't a single Molotov cocktail in sight and he just casually walked through the teargas cloud without a mask and right by the cops without any of them stopping him, which I find hard to believe.
