Forgotten 2017

This one is a primer on how to take an interesting premise and NOT deliver on the premise.

On paper the plot should be solid enough to carry it. In reality, the constant turns for the worse are the only thing to keep the movie going. Details are handwaved, making it hard to suspend disbelief; the acting is often difficult to believe as well. The jumpscares are there several times for no particular reason, since it's not actually a horror movie.

Since it relies on surprise so much, you can only watch this once and only once. However, even once feels hard to recommend.
