Not a terrible episode, not a great episode, nod to Negan for coming up with the whisperer idea, which is something I saw coming in the first few minutes of the episode. That said, this show's always been written in 8 episode blocks, and episode 7 always plays the same way as it just sets up the conclusion, slowly dragging the story a bit further but saving all the fun for the end. Interesting scenes at the Commonwealth, and once again you yoyo from being proud of Eugene to disappointed in him again all in a few minutes time.

Let's not waste any more time on the Reapers than we need to, I would've preferred not wasting any time on them at all to be honest, as it's obvious they were just the mini-boss to the Commonwealth to end this series. They all need to die in this next one, and to be honest I'd like to see Daryl's girlfriend, whatever her name is die with them too. That relationship felt forced and phony from the start, and since it was obvious he cared about Connie I'd rather see that route explored even if just for a little while before he and Carol needlessly extend this story in their spin-off.
