It usually annoys me when a story has several plotlines that don't get a resolution, but in this TV show it sort of works. Maybe we weren't supposed to know, maybe we're not allowed to know. For some reason it doesn't feel like bad and lazy writing. Instead it feels like we are outsiders seeing the parts of Christine's life she lets us see, because she is the one in control. It feels more realistic that way.
