Doesn't make the scene less weird. The writers could have written the scene differently.
It also doesn't change the fact that her voice-acting is horrible most of the time.

The choice of actors is weird.
Some like Jon Seda and Natalie Zea are great - others like Zyra Gorecki and Eoin Macken are just horrible. Zyra even managed to walk like she had a prosthesis in the flashback where she still has both her legs...
The worst about it is, tat Garvin seems to be quite important to the story - sucks that his actor is so bad...
