Okay, first I hated the first Dune, Sting or not. The book and the movie cliche as hell. However, while yes cliche like watching a movie about tthe British empire from the 1600s to late 1800s (thus cliche), this version is better directed, better written, better acted, better in so many ways, even with the cliche pulls you in. By the end, I was like "what? wait, wait, what happens next?!?" The first version was so bad nobody cared. This time I immediately went looking to see if they have Dune 2 in work yet. Not a go yet, but I'm already excited to watch Dune: The Sisterhood. Never expected that but there it is.
