“Palindrome” is an unsurprisingly terrible finale for what has been an extremely disappointing season. None of the emotional scenes has any impact, and every main character left standing (except Ed) is still alive in the end. Also, why does nobody acknowledge the UFO that appeared in the previous episode? I would assume this would garner some discussion, especially from Lou, as it quite literally saved his life. But no, we are given mundane and forgettable dialogue that ultimately leaves no impact. Aside from some decent acting, this was a painfully frustrating finale to sit through.
Overall, this is a poor season and a heavy drop in quality after what was a great first season, in my opinion.
