@thogek - Yes, yes, you're right, but we've (I've) so come to appreciate seeing Gideon in person, as a person and not just a disembodied voice in our ears. It won't be the same, but I guess they'll find a way to have her make infrequent physical appearances. After the initial shock and inevitable rage filled rampage, Gary and Mama Astra will probably figure some spell work-around. In any case it will be entertaining.
@van-nyx, I'm not disagreeing; it's been a very interesting take on Gideon's development, and I wouldn't object to their continuing it. Just noting that this particular development seems to reinforce the idea that it's time may be more limited than some of us might like—and that losing her in this way wouldn't necessarily mean losing her entirely.
