@scholarsarena curious what you thought of the series? they had so much more time to go into detail & character development! watching this movie afterwards was a bit of a let down for me - I really like the production value & casting of the series!
@udance4ever Didn't watch the series yet. Naturally the movie would feel crunched as compared to the series, but I think it paved the way for the series to be made  The movie felt nice, and appropriately as per when it was launched. Today, I wouldn't probably rate it the same.
As an example, I am not a fan of Star Wars. I don't think it has aged nicely. Though Star Trek still felt nice overall. No Trekkie vs Star Wars conflict, just an opinion
@scholarsarena haha I feel ya bout Star Wars - for some reason Star Trek has never stuck (dunno why, I'm a big sci-fi fan (but am I really w/o Star Trek?! lol)) Def watch the first episode of Hanna - if you liked the movie, you'll prolly get hooked! I think you're absolutely right it paved the way to fill in all the details you never thought needed filling in :) look forward to hearing what you think if you decide to jump in!
@udance4ever Ooh, another sci-fi fan? Nice! I love sci-fi  I'll give it a go, you've intrigued me enough. BTW, if you do like sci-fi, watch the Expanse, if you haven't yet. Loved the books and I loved the series.
@scholarsarena ooh! I'll have to continue watching! I'm on like episode 7 of The Expanse & recall liking it! I'm guilty of the equivalent of reading 30+ works of fiction at the same time so I appreciate the nudge after the pilot of The Boys wants to hijack me
@scholarsarena Hanna was (probably) dead too. She was shot in stomach.

The movie was good but left with too many loose ends. I wish they had some end to wrap it all up. The end was abrupt and explained nothing except that every character we knew in the story is dead except Hanna.
