This is not your average young adult movie. At least not if you happen to have similar experiences yourself - or if you are more than average emphatic... or both. For me this movie cut a bit too close, but it still is a wonderful movie. That is if you are okay with not being able to stop crying. Honestly - I could not stop crying... and ended up going to bed because I just was too exhausted to do anything else. All in all: very, VERY good film, but painful.
