Platinum End 2021

By the creator of Death Note,

Platinum End is a series that is like his predecessor, a series of a philosophical genre before being a series of a psychological thriller genre.

I admit I had a hard time with the first 10 episodes of the series, I'm not saying it was bad, but there was nothing original in its setting.

I started to be surprised and intrigued by the show during the fight between Metropolitan and the other candidates (the last fight with him).

After that, the series started to be really captivating, especially when Doctor Yoneda appeared.

The philosophical debate about god and his role was extremely interesting, if it turns out to be true, it calls into question many things.

For me the ending is perfect, it brings a lot of answers and also brings a lot of questioning, which in my opinion should not be answered. If there would be a season 2 (unless it is really excellent) I would be really disappointed.

I really like this kind of series where we focus more on the essence behind the reason to fight, rather than on the fight itself.

If you liked Death Note and Code Geass, this show has a great chance to please you.
