(compared to Drug War) Jo Jin Woong does a worse job of switching into different characters than Sun Hong Lei. Here the plot goes stupid way sooner, but doesn't reach the same level of stupidity. The Korean production values are of course a little higher. I suppose in terms of action Drug War might have been a bit better, but it's close.
Extended Cut adds minor content and an otherwise missing ending resolution, so watch that one.
