THE remake? Sorry, there are absolutely no plans for a new show/remake. However, there is talk about a movie, part of a reboot trilogy, which would neither be based on the show nor the original movie from 1994. Yes, that means it would be different from the 3 series(SG-1, Atlantis, Universe) and the movie which we know handled things differently from the show franchise. It would be something entirely different.
Sorry to disappoint you&myself. Now let's go back to pretending the franchise will be rebooted, this decade.

Cant wait to see the remake! I hear there doing 4 arcs but the guys who wrote the film are leading the new remake!!
