Shout by Bronson

Buffalo '66 1998

This is a very unique movie, which likely has a cult status. It's 110 minutes of severely psychologically-damaged characters, so you'd think this would be a drama; it's played seriously enough, but given the surreal moments of singing to old records, and tap dancing, it would best be described as a dark comedy. Similar to films from David Lynch, this plays out like a dream: it doesn't make sense outside of its own internal logic, you just have to strap in and enjoy the ride. Now, if you've served your five years, go kidnap a girl, take her to dinner with your BPD parents, go bowling, get a motel room, make a quick stop at the strip club, then call it a night.
