Come on, why would your four-year-old from Latvia call you comrade? It's not USSR. Also, (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm Lithuanian, not Latvian but) Nikolaj is not a very Latvian name. Since they didn't go with some English name, I wish they had gone with something super Latvian sounding. Also, also the "j" is not pronounced like that in Baltic languages. It's pronounced like Nikolai
