The Interview 2014

I'm going to try and give this movie a fair and impartial review. Let's start with the plot. The idea behind an entertainment show host going over to North Korea to interview Kim Jung-Un, could look decent on paper. Unfortunately, the writers didn't even try to flesh out a coherent story. It was obviously set up to deliver a slew of one-liners, most of which weren't even worth laughing at. The ending is predictable thanks to a fairly easy to catch (or should I say hammered into your head) foreshadow early in the movie. The performances of James Franco and Seth Rogan were mediocre at best. Randall Park, who played Kim Jung-Un was more annoying than funny. There was very little music of note in the movie, aside from the bit the beginning with the Korean girl and Katy Perry's "Fireworks", which bordered on agitating for the entire movie. The only reason this movie became relevant was due to the hack at Sony. Maybe see it once just so you know what everyone is talking about (or was talking about). Other than that this one is better left forgotten in time.
