Edge of the Earth

Season 1

they hype for hyper danger when there's only really a bit of danger. watch 14 Peaks Nothing Is Impossible to see real danger and free solo. this is a great idea but poorly executed. I'm disappointed by the overhyping stuff and minimum scariness of it. it's not that dangerous to watch it feels like you're watching a kid's adventure show doing a walk in the park. it doesn't feel dangerous at all for the viewer and more like childish hyper danger. not what you expect as a viewer when the intent of watching the show is to feel on the hedge of our feet. you don't get that feeling at all watching this show. the adventurers don't even are happy to be there, it seems like its a burden to them to be doing the show... i mean if you say this is something you've done your whole life and you love it why are you whining while you are doing this amazing things... is it the director who told you to be like that to "fake" danger. the only thing i see is people walking for days and complaining all the way. josh gates from expedition unknown doesn't do that... you can see that he is really passionate about what he does. pls when you created something make sure you are really passionate about it cause as viewers we see you and we are smart enough to know when you don't like what you do... it shows into the execution. i gave it a chance on the second episode but was deceived there too couldn't finish watching as the people going through the "dangerous" waters pretty much walk more than they are in the water and they don't like being there it is really obvious and not great to watch people complaining doing the thing they say they love to do. at the same time all this show feels like a promotion of non profits and of personnal views which is not what we expect from the trailer. what this all about making money or real passion that's the question cause if it was about passion i would have watched the whole thing like i do with expedition unknown.
