I agree with other comments, more than just a few episodes now are taking classic fairytale stories and putting a spin on them. Not sure I love that. It brings up an interesting concept about those fairytales coming from warning tales that mothers told their children to keep them safe, but I'm still unsure about it. There's something about it that makes these episodes less satisfying than the typical monster-hunting filler episode.

And of course Dean's chance had to slip out of his hands. This was their chance to get rid of the mark without consequence but nooo, we can't do that.
