This movie is a good example of not needing a complicated script to make a decent movie. There is a ton of heart in this movie and fantastic chemistry between the two leads. That said, I don't know if you could get away with this movie without Morgan Freeman essentially playing himself. The premise was a little sketchy but if you put that aside the resolution is pretty good.
