Definitely a way better episode than the one last week. It may just be because I'm a sucker for western stuff but I felt like this episode was awesome. The town of Salvation felt like it was given a real character. It really helped establish a tone quickly.

Ben knowing about Addison presents a new and interesting dynamic to the series that I think really helps it stand out from the Sam and Al relationship of the original series. I especially liked the differing viewpoints presented in how the two want to solve the issue. It definitely helped establish as a Sam-esque personality as someone who wants to do the most good possible with the least amount of harm. With that, it feels like Raymond Lee is really making the character his own now and has found his footing.

The stuff in Project Quantum Leap this episode was really interesting even though it ended up being a little anticlimactic. Regardless of how people feel about seeing this stuff, it does provide a different edge that the original didn't have. Getting some backstory on Jenn was pretty interesting too since I don't think we knew that information before.

Some issues I did have was that the relationship between Diego's granddaughter and Ben felt like it was abandoned a bit in the end. It just didn't feel as it important as it should've. Also, like the boxing episode, this week's villain was just kind of there. He was moreso just an obstacle as opposed to a character. That said, this is probably my new favorite episode.

Hopefully, next week's episode is good. The teaser didn't do too much to interest me especially after the revelation at the end of the episode. But, we'll just have to wait and see.
