Like Pepsi and Burger King, BBC (Big Black Comic) feels like the other side of a very familiar coin.
Black Adam is a DC movie with Dr Strange (Dr Fate), Falcon (Hawkman), Storm from X-Men (Cyclone), Ant Man (Atom Smasher), Wakanda (Kahndaq), and Vibranium (Eternium). So, yeah, it's like Pepsi compared to Coke or BK and Mickey D's.
The good news is that it moves along quickly, there are a lot of action scenes and visually it's appealing. The CGI is decent and the actors (Dwayne Johnson included) do a solid job.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the movie -- the gray area between good and bad where super heroes sometimes tread -- is only partially explored.
Unfortunately, except for this concept that's eventually abandoned, the story is at once derivative and a little all over the place, so you'll spend your time drawing parallels between the MCU and the DCU for something to do.
