Fantastic first series. I am by no means a comic book geek but this really pushed by buttons. It had depth and substance, and unlike many of the other superhero tv series I've watched bits of, the action scenes felt warranted and made sense, rather than feeling like they had just been thrown in for the sake of it or to pad out an episode. The show has a dark, gritty feel and Vincent D'Onofrio really shines as one of the most developed, muddled villains I've ever seen, and Daredevil was much more human than superhero.
I think I have a new favourite TV series! highly recommended. I have high hopes for season 2.
