Can no one appreciate the dramatic telling of the AIDS crisis of the 80s? It was called the Gay Plague. An already hated and marginalised community were hit with a disease which plucked them off in droves, and for years it went unseen. The scenes with doctors is masks was UNDERPLAYED! In the real story, hospital staff were in hazmat suits. Where is the empathy?! Where is the basic f-/:;(g knowledge of recent history?!

@alixbee I agree with you on some points, but it seems that you overestimated the season a little. I live with HIV for a long time now and I cracked the AIDS code by the moment I saw the opening credits... That's a little disappointing coming from a suspense/thriller/mystery show. Still, it's a fair season, for me.

Sure, just don't categorize it as "horror".

I think people would be pretty annoyed if they watched a romantic comedy, but then it turned out to be Schindlers List instead.

@alixbee We came to see American Horror Story. Not a fucking docu series on AIDS/HIV

@alixbee There are already plenty of dramas out there that have told the story. This is supposed to be a HORROR series. There was almost zero of that in this season.

@alixbee but like is supposed to be a horror show and there´s no horror elements in this season. is too dramatic to be horror
