@wpafbo79 This story arc covered the last third of the manga series so hell yeah it was rushed if it ended this quickly. The original manga was nearly 600 chapters long, this story arc covered the last 200 chapters.
@wpafbo79 The entire season will have 52 episodes. Kubo likes to draw characters in the entire page, so it needs less episodes to translate his manga to screen. 208 chapters in 52 episodes is 4 chapters per episode. A bit faster then normal, but a pretty normal pace for anime nowadays.

I see since my comment that this is the first quarter instead of the first half as I originally thought. Even so, 52 episodes for 20 volumes is way too short. I expected this arc to be in the 75 episode range to do it properly.

Very very rushed. It should be at least 30 episodes, if not more. 13 episodes is just pathetic.
