I Share the exact same opinion.
@swanqueenz I kinda agree, I did think it was, well, good, but by far not a movie I'd have expected to have a 8.5 on here.
This created so many elements that others copied, diluting your perspective and expectations. It was groundbreaking for the 90s.

Having heard great things and seeing the rating on here, I had high expectations. It was mediocre at best and extremely predictable.
