Usual generic "goes back in time to not very interesting time periods and does not very interesting things" and to make it worse, one of the things that is supposed to make it different is that his ex is also somehow time traveling (the time traveling is not explained in the pilot) and so it causes "drama" with him and his current wife. Just no. You don't put a love triangle in my time travel.
