This was a lot of fun. It sort of felt like the Star Wars version of a sports movie, with the dysfunctional underdog team learning to band together and scrap their way to victory. There were also shades of Ender's game here with the interesting design of the Citadel setup. The whole "brothers in arms" thing got a little on the nose at the end of the episode, but it was a bit touching nonetheless. Not particularly complex, but well structured and crafted, and a tidy little story.
