South Park: Season 26

26x01 Cupid Ye

They should really go back to focusing on their own self-contained stories, like in earlier seasons, instead of constantly parodying real-world events. Things move so fast nowadays to the point where this episode already felt dated by the time it was released.

@johnymyko Maybe you were too young to get all the references back then, I don't know, but parodying real-world events is kinda South Park's thing. They are able to turn these episodes out pretty quickly, but they choose relevant events from around the time that they have something to say about. Antisemitism is at it's highest since WWII, and giant superstars like Ye are a major part of the problem. He deserves to be attacked from every direction, and this was one of the most gentle - yet on point - enslaughts that takes into account his illness. I don't think it's dated, antisemitism has been a part of South Park since day one, it's been an awful and ongoing problem that satirists have always struggled to cope with, but this show has done it relatively well, especially of late.
