I'm still left with questions and plot holes (still pondering how the tag ended up in her grip in the hole), but that's the same in every episode. Also weird that the survivor wasn't mentioned in the news report at the end. Seemed an odd omission.
@tesbreag - When she sliced his ankle with the knife, she sliced off the monitor, (the strap is just thin plastic like a cheap watch strap) and then grabbed it before he realized it.
