@speeddemon They're actually pretty private about it but they show many of these private moments. I think that that's your problem with it.
@speeddemon what a pathetic, lazy critique. queer folks have always existed—even in 1930s Europe—and the depictions here aren't 'in front of everybody,' as the last commenter pointed out. get over it, bigot.

Overall it's pretty good. Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination. Some scenes could be trimmed to speed it up a bit.
Catering to the woke crowd.. there's an obvious and open (wouldn't happen in 1933) gay couple having spats in front of everybody. Think about it.. Hitler and the Nazi are killing/imprisoning gays and they are out there in the open. Please... if you're going authentic and doing a period piece, don't bring 21st century delusions into the storyline.
