@dabrouwer Please can you qualify that statement? The Bay is a UK-made crime drama whose primary garget audience is UK citizens. It's been made to a high standard, and holds its own well against most other UK crime dramas (although, as I stated in my own comment, the BBC do it better, in m opinion). I'm not trying to provoke an argument, but I'm interested to know your thinking? In my experience, US crime dramas targeted at a US audience (particularly the CSI / NCIS collections, Bosch, Body of Proof, Law and Order, and many others) are nearly all overly slick, uncomplicated. high-octane productions where the main detectives are either smug, arrogant, know-it-alls or else they're traumatised, rough-hewn mavericks who blatantly break the rules/the law but get away with it just so long as they catch the perp in the end, no matter what the "collateral damage" is along the way. Or a mixture of both. I don't see any of that in The Bay.
