I'll never understand how anyone can like Claire.

So she grabs the ticket for the first class and enjoys her stay there without any remorse. But then the person she sits next to turns out to be a nightmare, so she runs back to Phil and wants him to switch seats, even though he made the best of a bad situation (he sat without his wife and wasn't even mad that she grabbed the ticket). Phil doesn't want to switch seats because he met some cool people, so Claire throws a tantrum because apparently she was oh so selfless being on that trip with him.
But you know what? That's just what you do in a relationship! Sometimes you either a) suck it up because you love your partner and want him to have a good time or b) you tell your partner the truth from the start and avoid feeling uncomfortable. But you don't do nice things for your partner, just so you can use these things against them in the next fight.

I just can't understand how Phil deals with that all the time. He seems like such a nice guy, but he gets constantly ridiculed for his energy and ideas. And Claire rolls her eyes at him all the time and never takes him seriously. But in the end he's the one who usually apologizes (like in this episode).

Yes, I don't like Claire and I have a constant urge to rant about her. I need to stop /sigh
