I started the episode feeling down because I still don't like Joel, and was disappointed that we'd get a filler episode this close to the finale but,
What a fantastic episode.
Even the "lame" parts all served a neat purpose to showcase something about midge and her convictions.
The script itself had the potential to turn into a corny afternoon special, but the actors really knocked it out of the park, putting together probably some of my favourite scenes in this entire show.
I don't like cliffhangers, but I'll let this one slide, given its the penultimate.
