Of course. and you only need an army of lawyers and a few million dollars to argue your case in front of a court within 5 to 10 years.

@sleep-in-peace-bookstore The lawyers saying it was watertight was basically a McGuffin to allow the story to progress. It was a weak moment in the story but given the layers it was made into a joke and so long as the characters believed it, it may as well have been true.
