Do Revenge 2022

So, I've actually heard about this movie a while back, but I finally got the chance to watch it. You know, I've seen loads of pics of Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes all over social media, and their chemistry seemed so high that I thought it might be a cute lesbian love story kind of film, but nope, it isn't.

My reaction throughout the movie was like, "Okay, what?" because the plot just keeps turning! But hey, it's a good thing, though. The chemistry between the two main characters is there, but not in a romantic way. Their partnership really worked, and oh my god, Maya Hawke's romantic partner in this film is seriously making me question my sexuality. Anyway, the movie was entertaining, and it kept me glued to my seat. It's obviously a woman's revenge kind of film, as the title suggests, but it's not something I'd watch again.

Oh, before I forget, can we talk about the color palette and cinematography in this one? You'll see a few balance in the angles, and the colors just align so well with the characters. Though, gotta admit, mentioning that they're supposed to be seventeen kind of ruined it for me. I mean, do seventeen-year-olds in America really act and look like that? Are we really in that era now? But overall, it's an interesting film. The lesson I took from it is "be nice."
