Wasn't sure what to expect, been a fan of the original Twisted Metal games on PS1 to PS3, surprisingly I really enjoyed. I say surprisingly because game to screen adaptions don't always go well, that and how can you make a series out of cars just blowing up one another, happily it manages to do just that.
Always kept me wanting to watch the next episode. It does contain bloody/stylized gore to a certain extent just as a head s up. Also Neve Campbell much love, although I miss her in the new scream movies glad to see she can turn to other roles.
I think there is enough to enjoy for fans of the series and non fans, honestly they did a good job of weaving a story together and keep the carnage coherent. I really liked Sweet Tooth, they did a really good job with him, I also loved Quiet which bonded well with johns character.
Plenty of blood/gore/car shooting mayhem (although they could have added a bit more)
An unexpected treat in an out of control Twisted Metal world.
