The relationship between Micah and Paul's mother is a bit awkward and downright disrespectful towards Paul, in my opinion. I mean, to each to their own and Paul probably gave his blessings in a way (not like he had a choice), but after a break-up, and especially after such a short amount of dating, I do think these kinds of ties should - if not immediately, then gradually - die out out of respect and for the sake of the mental sanity of everyone
