@chillikun In PartII the crown prince has outstanding character development ; he couldn't compromise between loyalty to the king , kingdom and the people and met his demise.
Amazed the show had such good popularity in Korean viewership ratings despite it open taking piss at Joseon society that belittles women and expects sacrifice from all subjects in the name of honour and chastity for their family & feudal system ; which shows how mature the nation has become ; also a testament to NamKoong Min being called a Fri-Sat king with his successive hit shows in past few years that focus on content.
The only episode i felt skippable was the amnesia episode despite it showing some cute moments .
The king on the other hand I'm hoping had a lonely and most painful death as he seemed like he had cancer for foresaking his child & subjects in fear of being overthrown . A weak and coward ruler in times of crisis is a bigger tyrant than any other.

All men in Joseon seem so uptight and indecisive except Lee Jang-Hyun its a pity he is the one suffers most mentally and physically . Ahn Eun-jin depicted the fickle nature of women and yet worthy than man in joeson one shivered infront of barbarian , one lost his brain juice and became a baggage ; these scholars who are all talk but no actions is the reason for all sorrows in this show.
NKM as usual is cut above everyone else he depicted the character change from a romantizier to warrior , spy and heartbroken lover all in 10 episodes you wouldn't believe if it was all on guy !
I am not liking the stupid decision made at the end of S1 but can't wait for the new dynamics in S2 and what really happened in Shimyang
