Does away with all the exotic abroad locations and UK rap celeb cameos seen in the previous Netflix-funded seasons to focus on the characters we care about the most. Road life never ends well and Top Boy unflinchingly shows that in all its tragic brutality. Every episode is full of heartbreak, tension and bursts of violence with never-ending ripples touching all the people around them. I can't name a more consistently strong final season of television. 6 hours of perfectly executed climax. TV at its finest.
