The Blue Lagoon 1980

The movie is quite nice. The acting is not that bad, a classic film that takes viewers on a captivating journey of survival and self-discovery. The film tells the story of two young cousins who become stranded on a deserted tropical island after a shipwreck.

The film's strongest asset is its breathtaking cinematography. The lush, exotic setting of the island, with its crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and lush vegetation, provides a stunning backdrop for the unfolding drama. Cinematographer Néstor Almendros skillfully captures the beauty of the natural surroundings, making it a character in its own right.

The movie shows quite some nudity which suits the story, but makes you wonder about the real life for a second. Brooke Shields was only 14 years old here. Let that sink in please.
