I’ve always seen people talking about The Wire being an amazing show.. finally decided to give it a shot. Simply amazing.
Each episode keeps me hooked and I just want to keep watching and go directly to the next.
I didn’t know what to expect with it being made more than twenty years ago, but the story is not the only amazing part.. it looks amazing too. I really enjoy the shots they use and the general aesthetic.
This show does a really good job dragging you into the story. All these different, but interesting characters. Along with displaying the inter-workings of all the different players in Baltimore and how they interact with each other. The cops, the citizens, the politicians, the criminals, the judges, and more. Every single one of them having their own ambitions and desires in the city of Baltimore. Showing the dark side of many people...
