@thebabayaga Really? The original Jann Mardenborough was a consultant and even stunt double in the film. You can say other things about the movie, but it's well portrayed from reality.
Ok, they took some licenses, but that's what makes it a movie instead of a documentary.

Too much cliche. Unbelievable/Inhumane characters. The run time could've been reduced in my opinion. 2 hours was just a drag. They focused more on the racing part and less on the characters development, so you can't connect with them. Ford vs Ferrari did such a good job at this. They found just the right balance.
Now speaking as a motorsport enthusiast, this movie was an absolute disaster. They made so many mistakes , wow it's unbelievable. Let me list a few , no team mechanic would talk to the driver like the guy did. The driver is like the boss , they work for him . You'd get fired if you behaved like that to him/her. Second , David Harbour as a Race Engineer to Jann is so comically wrong , no race engineer would shout / scream their lungs out at their drivers. They're often the calmest person in the room. Third , when you are driving you'd experience so much G-Force (about 4x what astronauts feel when they lift off as David Harbor's character mentions in the beginning) , with that amount of G-force there's no way you could do fist pump celebration like Jann did , you'd definitely crash.
Last but not least , no driver would ever celebrate on overtaking an opponent like that . I mean seriously? :joy:
They shoulve atleast considered an expert's opinion before shooting this
