Here comes the fuzz. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost team up once again for the outrageous action-comedy Hot Fuzz. When a London police officer’s overzealous, by-the-book policing gets him into trouble with his co-workers, he’s transferred to a quite rural village; but he soon starts to suspect that there may be a sinister reason behind the village’s low crime rate. The writing is especially good and does a brilliant job at satirizing and parodying the cop genre. Additionally, Pegg and Frost deliver excellent performances and have great chemistry together; which makes the comedy hit even harder. An outstanding spoof of buddy cops films, Hot Fuzz brings the noise.
