@teer-ertete Nah speaking as a millennial, this show puts a mirror to a society. Sure characters could be better written but it's solid 7.5 to 8.5 depending on how much you like superhero stuff and and able of self-reflection

I really like The Boys and I really tried to like this, too. But it is so lame in every aspect. The story is pretty basic, uninteresting, and not a bit resourceful. There is basically no character to sympathize with, everyone is either a maniac (in a negative sense), a douche or a whiny little brat. And the so called learning institution is a joke. Is anybody learning anything here? I only see them taking drugs, foolin' around and having world changing problems with their coming of age insecurities.

I'd rather watch a proper coming of age show, with well written characters and a believable world building than this shadow of a show. This is another example of people taking a beloved franchise, to use it as a prop for a message, the fans of the original show are not interested in.

And I do not care what the presumably original intention of the show is (making fun of a generation or whatever). I want to be entertained. And for me, this is not doing it.
