Doctor Who 2005

This show didn't end. TMDB incorrectly marked it as ended and labelled next episodes as part of a separate show. IMDB shows seasons correctly and has Season 14. Is there any way to report this so it could get fixed?

@ana993 I think technically TMDB has it correct as the BBC and the show creators are labeling the new Doctor as a new rebranded show.

@zombiebxxk Yes, they are rebranding it because of Disney Plus, so it wouldn't say Season 14 on the platform. But that still doesn't change the fact that the new episode The Star Beast is direct continuation of the Power of the Doctor and it can't be watched without watching previous episodes. It's the same show, just a new season, not a reboot. They made a complete mess.

@ana993 Officially, S14 is actually S01 of a new "Doctor Who" run. Russell T Davies announced this about a month ago (https://reddit.com/r/gallifrey/comments/17lbz5s/yes_were_calling_it_season_one_rtd_on_ncuti/.

How that will shake out for sites and services that track the show has yet to fully shake out. The wikia, IMDb, and Reelgood are still calling it S14. Trakt has decided to go with RTD and Disney+.

@ana993 as @Robio100 mentioned, this is The first season of of a "new" show (even thought it's the direct continuation of previous episodes), but the episodes currently airing are the 'specials' of that season apparently.

The first episodes ("The Star Beast" and "Wild Blue Yonder") are listed there : https://trakt.tv/shows/doctor-who-213360/seasons/0.

To add to the confusion TMDB hasn't yet labelled the show "Doctor Who (2023) ", because they will append a year after the first episode of the season (not a special) will be aired. They have yet to have an air date, but it will probably start in 2024, so that would become "Doctor Who (2024) " (and the episodes currently taking place in November/December 2023 will be the "Season 00" (labelled "Specials" on TMDB and Trakt).

For the time being I'm saving the episodes outside my Plex folders, because Plex can't find the season 1 of that "new" show, and can't make heads or tails of it. (tip for Plex users : always number your shows specials 'S00Exx', that's how Plex finds the specials on TMDB)

@ana993 Yes! I actually had to switch to a non-trakt based tracking app so that I could mark the three new specials as "Watched."

@ana993 Actually Ana, I believe you (and IMDb) are wrong. Series 14 is being rebranded as "Season 1" of a new show titled "Doctor Who". Refer to this article:

Happy Holidays

@ana993 There is no fix, BBC themselves have classed it as a new show >> Doctor Who (2023- ) <<
