Ironically, by ending it the way they did, they actually found a way to potentially revitalize the show and set up some new storylines. Maybe let it percolate for a bit and then do "specials" once a year or some such. In any case, I will simply say...,Sploosh!!! And that's all I have to say about that.

@paladin5150 Now I'm afraid every time I hear, "made in Georgia," I'll start crying, like one of Pavlov's dogs!
And, yeah, I'm okay...just couldn't say that until I replied to Velvet (went dark 'cuz I'se so ashamed of how I distanced myself from my Grandpa over the last few years of his life).

She achully offered to have a phone call irl, which I passed up. The one thing I always envied about you two & Anthoney, that you had some connection irl -- and, I passed... can't stop kicking myself for it either.

Have you heard her play piano? My god -- and, I'm an atheist!

@vwfringe - No worries my friend, and look, as they say, "stuff happens". Relationships (even (or especially) with family can be messy and complicated. I didn't have contact with my Mom for years, and then one day she showed up at my door cuz she heard I had lost my job, and pressed a FAT stack of Benjamins into my hand not knowing I was worried about making rent and bills. It kept me solvent till I got back on my feet. I asked why, and she simply said "because you're my son and I'll always love you". Damn! Definition of unconditional love. RIP Mom! Never too late to make amends, and, I was by her hospital bed when she took her last breath.

As far as the Velvet one and I go, our first contact was her posting a bunch of hate and BS about me on another forum. At first, I thought about blocking her, but, for some reason decided to engage and hear her out. Turns out she had some difficulty believing some of the things I've done in my life, which was her prerogative, but, by engaging with her, we came to have a mutual respect and understanding. Yes, she can be "out there" at times, especially when she's going through some of the stuff she has to deal with, but, I feel she has a genuinely kind heart, and simply speaks her mind and her truth as she sees and feels it. I truly consider her a good friend, and, one can't ask much more than that these days, especially when one "wrong" word can have the pitchfork and torches mob unleashed upon you.

Yes, I've heard her play, and, being a keyboardist and guitarist myself, I can appreciate the all hard work and practice it takes to master any instrument. Go ahead and take her phone call. She's pretty easy to talk to, is a good listener, and, has some interesting insights on, as his Purple one used to say, "This thing called life".

Remember... If the elevator ever tries to bring us down, go CRAZY!!!

Peace and Respect as always, and, may 2024 be LESS crazy than 2023!

Is it just me or did that pilots voice sounded familiar?
