Daria, representation for the asexually leaning? I don't know but being scared means a lot of thing and sometimes the right thing is not to face your fears. Just because I'm scared of bungee jumping, doesn't mean I have to face the fear and jump, and if you're saying bungee jumping is potentially dangerous, well if you don't end up enjoying the experience, having sex when you're not ready can be traumatic. I didn't like how Tom reacted when Daria said she was ready but not right now and how he didn't understand why she was lowkey hurt by Tom bringing a condom everywhere. Potential distant future doesn't seem scary because it's not real. And she felt that Tom just by the action of carrying it everywhere all this time, was hoping it would happen soon, sort of pushing her without saying anything.
P.S. Would Daria finally stop saying she's unknown in the school? She's been a part of numerous projects there, even this season she was a substitute teacher, she's one of the top students, her sister is popular, she's (almost) friends with Jodie, acquaintances with the cheerleader of the school and QB. Come on now! It's not like people in your classes don't know her name!
