Agreed, I know she gets powers in the comics but the history segments feel underwhelming, slow, and out of place. Especially for a 5 episode show. If they kept her grounded then gave her powers in a movie or a second season, it would've made the show so much better.
As for Ms. Marvel, same issue but different fix. The bracelet should've never been presented the way it did. Especially with how they explained it in The Marvels movie. They should've kept her Inhuman fleshy powers instead of changing to "connect" her to Captain Marvel. Or, if they wanted to keep her new sparkle-like abilities. Get rid of the bracelet since she's revealed as a mutant anyway. The bracelet was just a poor connection attempt for The Marvels.

Fight scenes in the skating rink was great but otherwise this show is a bore. Also I don't care about the historical aspects to the character. Not sure why every new Marvel character needs to do this? They did it with Ms. Marvel and it was boring then, and it's boring now.
